I was fishing from shore on the Chenango River using an artificial shad. It was about 9:15pm when it hit. Taking about 10 minutes to get the channel cat to shore it put up a good fight. I forgot to measure it because I was way to excited, but i would guess its around 28inchs give or take.

	Beautiful cat but even more beautiful of a girl. Have done a lot of fishing on the chenango and never came across a girl like this fishing. Gonna have to find me a girl like that. Anyways nice cat Carly!
