Gary Mathis, my husband came in from a graveyard shift, jumped into the beautiful green water we've been experiencing in Surfside, Texas. He cast a 3" Yozuri lure into a mother-lode of Crevalle Jacks chasing schools of bait, moving through the first gut right off the shore. The first bite got away, the second proved not so lucky. The bout lasted about 30 minutes. Both survived the fight. November proves excellent, also, for possible encounters with the powerful Crevalle Jacks. Vanda Mathis
