This 9 lb largmouth was caught on Lake Shasta in post spwan durring mid April. I landed this fish on 6lb line while slow rolling 1/2oz white spinner bait. I had taken an 8 year old boy bass fishing for his first time, when I caught that fish. He could not believe what he saw when the fish came up to the boat. He was amazed and a hooked fisherman there after.
