| Some people are just plain stupid. Rating fish should be done in comparison to the species. Of course a crappie is smaller than a striper, but a 14 inch crappie is a little better than a 1 out of 10 (IMO). | |||

| State record here in Missouri is 13 lbs 14 oz.
A trophy in Missouri is considered 6 lbs or 22 inches (that is what MDC says at least). I'd have to say it is about the same here when it comes to catching 8+. |

| That is definately a nice bass. How big do they get up there? I know the growing season for bass isn't as long up there. | |||
