I spent four months on the commercial fishing vessel the "Eileen J" This was the last King Salmon of the season for me. My fondest memory of this experience was the rythem of killing salmon..."thump-gaff-flop-gill...NEXT!" Ten thousand pounds of chums in a weekend, 250 cohos daily for a week, and blood on the deck from morning to night. I Love Alaska!
